From the moment I first contacted Celtic Rider my wife and I were treated as if we were their only customer. Celtic Rider provided a first-class tour with wonderful accommodations and their orientation alleviated my anxiety about driving on the left side of the road. Since we were not part of a group we could either follow the GPS or do our own tour and on some days we did just that, exploring old churches and graveyards in search of my wife’s ancestors. Paul’s tours allow for the greatest freedom and since most of the accommodations involve a two-night stay, that second day gives the option to sleep in or perhaps go off the beaten path. Each day was unique but I liked the Beara Peninsula the best as it is unspoiled and has the awesome Healy Pass. Even better than that we thoroughly enjoyed the Irish people—their willingness to help out, their friendliness and their sense of humor are what made the trip extra special. Paul and his staff are the best! Dale Voskuil Chilton, Wisconsin, USA

These four Louisiana boys chose the seven day Ireland trip for our annual father/son tour. We had the privilege to meet the inimitable Paul Rawlins. We have self toured the states and Alaska. We have traveled extensively in Europe with top touring companies. Paul does not take a backseat to any tour we have taken before. Paul pays attention to detail thereby making the trip to have no unpleasant surprises. We rode BMW GS's, which I consider to be the bike of choice for Ireland riding. I suggest skills comparable to those required for intermediate level for alpine riding. We will be back for another ride.

My wife and I rented a BMW 1200 on the 4th of July for about three weeks and saw everything! Well maybe not everything. We even went to Scotland for four or five days. The bike was awesome and has great suspension and lots of get up and go when you need it. Paul and his staff were the best. We got a bit lost coming back into Dublin as my GPS took a dive about 3/4 of the way through our trip but they got us back to the shop safe and sound. All the Irish gusthouses were great and treated us very well. They are not quite like the ones back home in the states. You feel more like your in a small hotel and not like your invading someones house at breakfast and the food is really much better. We are ready to go back and do it all over again. I could go on and on about what a great trip it was and what we did and saw. Thank you Paul and staff and all the great people of Ireland. Oh and did I say the people in Ireland are a thousand times more hospitable and friendly than in the big cities of the states.

Hi Paul and staff. I would like to share a little of my two trips to Ireland. The first was in July 2011. Two weeks on the R1200GS and beautiful Ireland. Beginning at Celtic Rider, off to Killarney, Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Moher, Rock of Cashel, Tipperary, Sligo, Donegal, and Waterford. It was the BEST vacation of my life. The second trip was better yet. Aug. and Sept 2012, three weeks beginning at Celtic Rider, Dublin. Across Ireland twice and then to Rosslare Harbour. Next was the GS and me on the Irish Ferry to Pembroke in Wales. Across Wales to the M4 and on to London. After this, southeast to Folkestone and under the channel to Calais. I went next down the coast of France to Omaha Beach. Everything was very beautiful. Next eastward to Paris. Paris is beautiful and very easy to ride in. I met friendly people everywhere. Finally I had to head back (bummer). Calais, Folkestone, London, Birmingham, Holyhead, and Dublin. The GS ran perfect and did about 2000 miles. Paul is a great gentleman and the CR staff very kind and helpful. I recommend Celtic Rider to everyone. Don Gilroy, USA.

Paul gave me the warmest welcome when I came to pick up the F650GS BMW I rented. The B & B's were lovely and took all the hassle out of planning. I had an amazing adventure and the bike was brilliant on those winding roads! Paul and his staff are just fantastic and seeing Ireland by bike was unforgettable! I can't wait to do it again!

My wife and I rented a R1200GS for a week of riding in Ireland and had a fantastic time. Our many thanks to Paul and Mick for making this a great experience. The bike was perfect and was flawless for the ride, as expected. Thanks to Paul for saving Melanie from the cold, and thanks to Mick for the use of your GPS. All around, it was a great experience. See you next year at the Nationals in Salem, I'll buy you a beer, or two.

Hi Paul, I just had to stop by and say what a fabulous trip we had around Ireland on the 13 day tour. The bike was great, really suitable for Ireland, the routes were totally incredible, we didn't realize roads like this existed, simply beautiful and the B&Bs were great too. All in all, it was a fabulous vacation. My thanks to you and your staff, especially Paul who is the most genuine business owner I ever met.
